Adding Title and Description Meta Tags to your blog home page

The Google Blogger having the various tools to write content, design the template and configure the settings of your blog. Using these tools we can add Title Meta Tag and Description Meta Tag to our Blog with the help of Title and Description options available in the Basics page of your Blog.

The Blog owner does not need to have the HTML knowledge to add the Meta Tags to his blog. He can directly add his own Title and Description to his blog. In order to add the Meta Tags

1. Click on More Options drop down button next to a Blog in your .
2. Select Settings option in the drop down list.
3. Under Basic section in Basic Settings page click on Edit hyperlink next to the Title to add Title for your Blog and click on Save Changes button.
4. Next click on Edit link next to the Description to add Description for your Blog and click on Save Changes button.

You can see the “Saving..” message above the Settings > Basic after you have clicked on “Save Changes” button. After the changes saved you can see the ”Settings were saved successfully” message.

Now your blog have been set with the Title and Description Meta Tags. In order to verify the Title Tag just click on View Blog button above the settings. Your blog will open in new browser page.
